Qualifications

• JD degree and licensed to practice in at least one state.
• Insurance defense, litigation, regulatory compliance, or administrative law experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with multi-tasking and adaptability.
• Critical and analytical thinking for reviewing complex claims issues.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Focus on the motor carrier policy and provide counsel, training, and assistance to claims departments.
• Prepare coverage opinions and memoranda on claims topics and oversee litigation and declaratory judgments while supervising outside counsel.
