GNY Insurance Companies seeks an experienced claims professional to serve as the face of the company in NYC, Long Island and Westchester courts. You will work with defense counsel throughout litigation, communicating with the trial prep team and acting as the eyes and ears of management in court during trials.

The role requires a law degree or equivalent, at least 5 years in similar court-focused duties, and strong knowledge of NY premises liability and bodily injury claims.

Qualifications

• Law degree preferred, bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in court appearances and mediations.
• Knowledge of NY court system and premises liability.

Responsabilités

• Represent GNY in NYC, Long Island, and Westchester court appearances.
• Evaluate cases and negotiate settlements with management and examiners.
• Attend conferences, mediations, and trials; monitor litigated claims.
• Conduct in-depth file reviews of damages and liability.
• Document activity in ImageRight and report to trial prep team.
• Participate in special projects and additional duties as required.
