Responsibilities

• Review and verify coverage for each claim and issue timely coverage letters.
• Conduct factual investigations directly or with investigators.
• Review and analyze contracts, leases, and related documents.
• Set proper reserves and make fair settlement determinations.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and counsel.
• Maintain files and diary systems; follow protocols.
• Direct defense counsel and monitor discovery.
• Participate in special projects as needed.
