Job summary

The Judicial Branch of Arizona in Maricopa County is seeking a Courtroom Assistant for the IA Court in Phoenix. You will coordinate courtroom proceedings, manage time-sensitive documents, and support daily operations for the IA docket.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of administrative experience, knowledge of MS Office, and familiarity with court information systems. The role requires day shifts in a secured facility with a four 10-hour shift pattern.

  • Experience in a court or legal setting is preferred.
  • Strong MS Office skills and data entry ability.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with the public, attorneys, court staff, and agencies professionally.

  • Enter data into iCIS and related systems from citations and referrals.
  • Maintain case monitoring and perform file reviews for completeness.
  • Assist with hearings preparation and coordination for Judicial Officers.

The job may involve using hands for tasks such as typing, handling objects, or operating tools, as well as reaching with hands and arms. Occasionally, the employee may be required to move or lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
