Job summary

The Superior Court of the Judicial Branch of Arizona in Maricopa County seeks a Court Administration Assistant to provide high-volume administrative support in the Criminal Department. You will manage case data across multiple court systems, assist the public and attorneys, and help with standard departmental processes.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of clerical experience, with strong customer service, communication, and time management skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Two years of general clerical or administrative experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform case management entry and retrieval using court systems (iCIS, iCISng, APETS, JWI, JMS).
  • Direct public to appropriate court programs and resources.
  • Respond to inquiries from the public, attorneys, and staff.
  • Train new staff on departmental processes and procedures.
  • Maintain case-related information in court software and support statistics reporting.

The job may involve using hands for tasks such as typing, handling objects, or operating tools, as well as reaching with hands and arms. Occasionally, the employee may be required to move or lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
