Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; prior law enforcement, corrections, or military experience preferred.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and court procedures; basic legal terminology.
• Ability to interact tactfully with staff, inmates, and the public; de-escalate conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Screen visitors with X-ray/metal detector, confiscate contraband, and monitor entries.
• Escort inmates and monitor court proceedings to maintain order and safety.
• Provide security and guidance; escort to parking and assist with medical transports as needed.
• Perform incident reporting and document warrants served; maintain County PRIDE values.
