Allied Universal in Plymouth, NC is looking for a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Patrol) to safeguard government and public areas. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide courteous service to visitors and staff while following site policies.

This role offers flexible scheduling with part-time hours; prior security experience is preferred, and all candidates will undergo background checks and a pre-employment drug screen as required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and court personnel while following site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points, assist with directions, and report incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents and document them per site procedures.
