Job summary

Qualifications

• Maintains and repairs building systems per supervisor directions.
• Performs preventive maintenance on mechanical systems as directed by supervisor or other technical resources.
• Responds to occupant service requests and troubleshoots to meet building needs.
• Keeps inventory records and prepares material requisitions as replacements are needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance activities such as replacing or repairing ceilings, flooring, walls, bathroom fixtures and other general building maintenance activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems as directed by supervisor or other technical resources.
• Respond to all occupant service requests and troubleshoots to meet the operational and comfort needs of the building(s) occupants.
• Work with vendors (i.e., plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians) in evaluating the proper operation of the building systems.
• Maintains records for inventory of repair supplies and materials; prepares materials requisitions for approval by supervisor as replacement needs dictate.
• Effectively communicate in a positive, proactive manner with all team members, customers, and vendors; demonstrate teamwork values.
