Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries efficiently while ensuring items are not damaged and aiming for at least five items per bag.
• Using best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing merchandise from baskets for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and understanding store layout for product location and price checks.
• Adhering to all safety, food safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Reporting unsafe conditions or equipment issues to management.
• Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Managing conflicts professionally and acting with honesty and integrity.
