Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries efficiently and carefully, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Using best practices for various bag types (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing customer merchandise from baskets at checkout.
• Offering to help load bags into customer vehicles.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
• Informing customers of grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, trash, and maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and assisting with store layout and product location.
• Following safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to food safety regulations.
• Inspecting equipment, reporting repairs, and creating a welcoming environment for customers.
• Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and store policies.
• Working cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Managing conflicts professionally and acting with honesty and integrity.
• Following directions, seeking assistance when needed, and supporting customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and seniors.
