Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, striving to pack at least five items per bag without damage.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting with removing merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning bascarts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and assisting with store layout knowledge, product location, and price checks.
• Reinforcing safety programs, complying with safety procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a high-paced environment and managing conflict constructively.
• Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Supporting interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $15.70 per hour
