Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag while preventing damage.
• Using best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
• Assisting in removing merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and understanding store layout for product location and price checks.
• Following safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to food safety standards.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment, assisting customers with inquiries about products.
• Complying with all legal and company guidelines.
• Working cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflict professionally.
• Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
