Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring items are not damaged and striving for at least five items per bag.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
3. Assist in removing merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
4. Help customers load bags into their cars when possible.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves and gather bascarts.
7. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash.
8. Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and product location.
9. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
10. Perform basic equipment inspections and report repairs needed.
11. Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with questions about products.
12. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
13. Work effectively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts cooperatively.
14. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
15. Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with disabilities, and seniors.
16. Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
