Job Description

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return bascarts, and clean spills and trash inside and outside the store.
7. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, and conduct price checks.
8. Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions.
9. Adhere to food safety regulations, inspect equipment, and report repairs needed.
10. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers with questions about products.
11. Follow all legal and company guidelines, work cooperatively in high-paced environments, and manage conflicts effectively.
12. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
13. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
14. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
