Job Description: Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger

As a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger, you will be responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Your duties will include bagging groceries, assisting customers with loading bags into their cars, maintaining store cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bag groceries efficiently while ensuring contents are not damaged and items are properly packed.
2. Assist customers with loading their groceries into their vehicles.
3. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking of merchandise.
4. Inform customers about grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves.
5. Maintain cleanliness inside the store and parking lot, including cleaning spills and collecting trash.
6. Handle seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for product location and price checks.
7. Reinforce safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report issues to management.
8. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
9. Support a welcoming environment by answering customer questions and providing assistance.
10. Follow all local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies.
11. Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally and demonstrating honesty and integrity.
12. Support customers with special needs, including minors and older adults.
