Job Description: Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities include:

1. Bagging groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and items are bagged efficiently.
2. Assisting customers with loading bags into their cars.
3. Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
4. Informing customers about grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
5. Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
6. Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintaining store cleanliness.
7. Handling seasonal merchandise and understanding store layout for product location and price checks.
8. Reinforcing safety programs, complying with safety procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions.
9. Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
10. Inspecting equipment and notifying management of repairs.
11. Creating a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and providing assistance.
12. Following all legal and company guidelines, and managing conflict in a professional manner.
13. Supporting and assisting diverse customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
