Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from baskets for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves and gather/return shopping carts.
7. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash removal.
8. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
9. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
10. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
11. Inspect equipment, report repairs, and support a safe environment.
12. Create a welcoming environment, assist customers, and answer questions about products.
13. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
14. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
15. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
16. Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
17. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
18. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
