Job Description

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Bag groceries at check out for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing customer merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts.
• Clean spills, pick up trash inside store and parking lot, and clean all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for locating products and conducting price checks.
• Reinforce safety programs and comply with safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by answering questions about products.
• Follow all legal and company guidelines, and work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
• Manage conflict reasonably and act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
