Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Following best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
• Assisting in removing merchandise from bottom of shopping carts for checkout.
• Helping customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and understanding store layout for product location and price checks.
• Reinforcing safety protocols, reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to food safety regulations.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally, and acting with integrity.
• Providing support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
