Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, ensuring at least five items per bag and preventing damage.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting customers by removing merchandise from baskets and helping load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers of grocery specials and returning items to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, trash collection inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and understanding store layout for product location and price checks.
• Reinforcing safety protocols, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers, answering questions about products.
• Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
