Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, ensuring at least five items per bag without damage.
• Using best practices for various bag types (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing customer's merchandise from baskets for checkout.
• Offering to help load bags into customers' cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials.
• Returning merchandise to shelves, gathering and returning shopping carts.
• Cleaning spills, trash collection inside the store and parking lot, and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and assisting with store layout and product location.
• Conducting price checks for cashiers and reinforcing safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting repair needs.
• Creating a welcoming environment by engaging with customers and answering questions.
• Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
