Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from carts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
6. Inform customers of grocery specials.
7. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts.
8. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash.
9. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
10. Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
11. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
12. Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
13. Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with questions.
14. Follow all legal and company guidelines.
15. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflict appropriately.
16. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
17. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
18. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
