• Retail Experience is preferred but not necessary

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at check out for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and return merchandise to store shelves.
6. Inform customers of grocery specials and gather bascarts for return.
7. Clean spills, collect trash inside store and parking lot, and clean all areas inside and outside of the store.
8. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
9. Understand the store's layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
10. Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
11. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
12. Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
13. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers with product questions and ensuring they feel valued.
14. Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies.
15. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
16. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
17. Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
18. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Salary Range: $18.25 - $18.25
