Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts for return.
• Clean spills, collect trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintain all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions or issues.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment, notify management of repairs needed, and create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Follow all laws and company guidelines, work cooperatively in high-paced environments, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity.
• Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
