Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
4. Offer help to customers in loading bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and clean spills and trash inside and outside the store.
7. Handle seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
8. Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions.
9. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
10. Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
11. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
12. Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
13. Work effectively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts professionally.
14. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
15. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
16. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
17. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
