Responsibilities:

• Bag groceries efficiently at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from the bottom of baskets during checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their vehicles.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
• Inform customers about grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather shopping carts for return.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash collection inside the store and parking lot, and cleaning all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand the store layout, locate products, and assist with price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety procedures, report unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by engaging with customers and answering questions about products.
• Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
