Responsibilities:

• Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag, ensuring contents are undamaged.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
• Assist customers with unloading merchandise from bascarts and loading bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Restock shelves and gather bascarts for return.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and all store areas inside and outside.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for product location and price checks.
• Reinforce safety by following procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and complying with food safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
