Essential Job Functions

• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to the company's policies outlined in the bagging manual.
• Fill bag racks and assist in stocking of milk and eggs.
• Unload shopping carts for customers and keep shopping carts in their proper place on the front end.
• Assist cashiers in checking out customers efficiently.
• Retrieve stray carts from the parking lot and keep the parking lot litter-free.
• Assist in sweeping, mopping, and maintaining cleanliness of all areas of the store, including restrooms.
• Assist customers in locating products.
• Never engage in conversations with other associates while bagging orders.
• Understand and explain the ValuCard program.
• Assist in keeping the work station neat and clean, and replace misplaced items to their proper locations.
• Collect trash and bale boxes as needed.
• Properly use the intercom system.
• Understand shelf tags to assist with price changes.
• Stock merchandise and assist with parcel pick-up areas as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
