Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag while preventing damage.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing merchandise from baskets for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Handling and assembling seasonal merchandise.
• Understanding store layout, locating products, and conducting price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforcing safety protocols, identifying unsafe conditions, and reporting issues.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspecting equipment for preventive maintenance and reporting repairs.
• Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Following all applicable laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
