Job Description

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Bag groceries at check out for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from the bottom of the shopping cart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and clean spills and trash inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety procedures, comply with food safety regulations, and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products.
• Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts, act with honesty and integrity, and seek assistance when needed.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
