Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and striving for at least five items per bag.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and clean spills and trash inside and outside the store.
7. Handle seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, and conduct price checks.
8. Reinforce safety procedures, comply with food safety regulations, and inspect equipment for maintenance needs.
9. Create a welcoming environment, answer customer questions, and adhere to all laws and company guidelines.
10. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity.
11. Support customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
12. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
