Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing merchandise from carts for checkout.
4. Help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves and gather/return shopping carts.
7. Clean spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.
8. Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with price checks and store layout navigation.
9. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
10. Maintain equipment and create a welcoming environment for customers.
11. Follow all legal and company guidelines, and work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
12. Manage conflicts professionally and act with honesty and integrity.
13. Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
14. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
