Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and striving for at least five items per bag.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer merchandise from shopping carts and help load bags into cars if needed.
4. Perform basic shelf conditioning, inform customers of grocery specials, and return merchandise to shelves.
5. Gather and return shopping carts, clean spills, collect trash, and maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
6. Handle seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
7. Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions.
8. Adhere to food safety regulations, inspect equipment, and notify management of repairs.
9. Create a welcoming environment for customers and answer questions about products.
10. Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
11. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity.
12. Support customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
13. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
