Job Description: Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger

Responsibilities include:

1. Bagging groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and striving for efficiency.
2. Assisting in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
3. Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
4. Performing basic shelf conditioning and returning merchandise to shelves.
5. Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
6. Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintaining cleanliness.
7. Handling and assembling seasonal merchandise.
8. Understanding store layout, locating products, and conducting price checks.
9. Reinforcing safety programs, complying with safety procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions.
10. Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
11. Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs needed.
12. Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
13. Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
14. Working cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally, and acting with honesty and integrity.
15. Providing support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
