Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
2. Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders according to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
3. Fill bag racks and assist in stocking merchandise such as milk and eggs.
4. Unload shopping carts for customers and keep carts in proper place.
5. Assist cashiers during checkout to ensure efficiency.
6. Retrieve stray carts from parking lot and keep the work station and surrounding areas neat and clean.
7. Assist customers in locating products and explain the ValuCard program.
8. Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and keeping bathrooms and parking lot tidy.
9. Assist in parcel pickup, replace misplaced items, and manage trash and bale boxes.
10. Use the intercom properly and understand shelf tags for price changes.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
