• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
• Fill bag racks and unload shopping carts for customers.
• Assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place and the store clean.
• Assist cashiers with checkout processes.
• Retrieve stray carts from parking lot and keep work areas neat.
• Assist in stocking milk, eggs, and merchandise, and help customers locate products.
• Understand and explain the ValuCard program.
• Assist in store cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, and bathroom maintenance.
• Maintain litter-free parking lot and shopping cart areas.
• Work in parcel pick-up areas and replace misplaced items.
• Collect trash and bale boxes as needed.
• Use the intercom properly and understand shelf tags for price changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
