• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
• Fill bag racks and assist in stocking merchandise such as milk and eggs.
• Unload shopping carts for customers and keep shopping carts in their proper place.
• Assist in keeping the work station, all areas around it, bathrooms, and parking lot neat and clean.
• Help cashiers check out customers efficiently and assist customers in locating products.
• Retrieve stray carts from parking lot and keep parking lot and shopping carts litter-free.
• Never carry on conversations with other associates while bagging an order.
• Understand and explain the ValuCard program and assist with price changes using shelf tags.
• Assist in sweeping, mopping, and maintaining cleanliness in all store areas.
• Work in parcel pick-up areas as directed, replace misplaced items, and collect trash and bale boxes as needed.
• Properly use the intercom system and perform other duties as assigned.
