Essential Job Functions:

1. Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
2. Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
3. Fill bag racks and unload shopping carts for customers.
4. Assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place on the front end and retrieve stray carts from the parking lot.
5. Assist cashiers in checking out customers efficiently.
6. Keep work stations and surrounding areas neat and clean.
7. Assist in stocking milk and eggs, and help customers locate products.
8. Never carry on conversations with other associates while bagging orders.
9. Understand and explain the ValuCard program.
10. Assist in sweeping, mopping, and maintaining cleanliness of store areas and bathrooms.
11. Help keep parking lot and shopping carts litter-free.
12. Work in the parcel pick-up area as directed.
13. Replace misplaced items and collect trash and bale boxes as needed.
14. Properly use the intercom system and understand shelf tags for price changes.
15. Stock merchandise and perform other duties as assigned.
