• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
• Fill bag racks and unload shopping carts for customers.
• Assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place on the front end and retrieve stray carts from the parking lot.
• Help keep the work station and surrounding areas neat and clean.
• Assist in stocking milk, eggs, and other merchandise.
• Help customers locate products and explain the ValuCard program.
• Assist in store cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and maintaining bathrooms.
• Maintain litter-free parking lot and shopping cart areas.
• Work in parcel pick-up areas as directed and replace misplaced items to proper locations.
• Collect trash and bale boxes as needed.
• Properly use the intercom system and understand shelf tags for price changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
