Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level team member to assist with various retail tasks across departments, delivering above-and-beyond customer service.

You will engage in cart management, trash collection, snow removal, returns, cleaning, and interdepartmental collaboration in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Can handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending and twisting while handling product or using various equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments such as Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
