Qualifications

• Experience with Word, Excel and PDF software.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and maintain good relationships with staff.
• Preferred: one to two years’ typist experience with transcript formats.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate transcripts of judicial proceedings from tape and digital recordings.
• Certify correctness of transcripts prepared.
• Process transcript requests and engage in written correspondence with requestors.
• Maintain records and filing systems to facilitate storage and retrieval of transcripts.
• Perform some administrative duties under the supervision of the Court Administrator.
