Job summary

The New York State Unified Court System is seeking a Court Technology Operations Coordinator to support the OCA's Division of Court Modernization in Albany, New York. The position offers full-time employment and a pathway to advance within the Analyst series.

Responsibilities include managing AV modernization logistics, inventory, equipment shipments, and training support across NYC courts, with statewide documentation and compliance duties.

Qualifications

• Senior Court Analyst requires 1 year in Court Analyst title or 2 years relevant experience.
• Court Analyst requires 1 year in Assistant Court Analyst title or 1 year of relevant experience with a Bachelor's or Master’s.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Support high-volume audiovisual modernization initiatives and perform key logistical functions within the NYC DCM Office.
• Manage inventory for incoming equipment orders and process work orders using the asset and maintenance management platform.
• Coordinate equipment shipments and prepare equipment for local delivery to NYC court locations as part of modernization initiatives.
• Organize, maintain, and audit storage locations within the NYC DCM Office.
• Develop a basic understanding of DCM technology and recommend alternative parts when requested equipment is unavailable.
• Assist the DCM training team with courtroom technology training throughout the NYC area as needed.
• Assist in coordinating video conferencing between courts and state or federal facilities.
• Conduct database evaluation, reporting, and compliance activities to ensure statewide courtrooms and public spaces are accurately documented in DCM's customized court inventory database.
• Maintain documentation of technology assets, acoustic treatments, and accessibility and quality-of-life improvements.

Education

Bachelor's degree

Master's degree in Public or Business Administration
