Job summary

Wisconsin Consolidated Court Automation Programs (CCAP) seeks a Technical Support Engineer to manage computing infrastructure across county courthouses and offices in Wisconsin. You will install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, and provide professional support to court staff.

Occasional travel and on-site work at Madison facilities are expected, with a significant travel load and strict safety standards.

Qualifications

Two years of experience setting up computers and audio/visual equipment.
Experience with local and wide area networking concepts.
Experience installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting desktops, printers and peripheral devices.
Associate degree in computer science, computer technician, or related field.
Experience in supporting Windows Server and Remote Desktop Services.

Responsibilities

Provides maintenance and support for client software and hardware.
Installs, configures and troubleshoots computer hardware and software across Wisconsin courthouses and offices.
Provides technical customer support to court system employees and takes corrective action.
Performs field service to upgrade hardware or troubleshoot technology issues.
Responds to unplanned events such as system failures or disasters involving production systems.
