Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM

Pre-Employment Requirement: 21+ Years of Age (C101)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, and other occupants while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and belongings entering the facility using designated screening equipment and established access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry points, verify authorized access as directed, and report prohibited items, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
