Job summary

Wicomico Partnership seeks a Deputy Sheriff Court Security officer to provide court security, maintain order in the courts, and oversee inmate holding facilities.

This ongoing recruitment requires MPTC-certified law enforcement experience, completion of polygraph and background checks, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED. Position is part-time with a pay rate up to $39.01 per hour based on experience. Drug testing and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Maryland Police Training Commission (MPTC) certification.
• Pass polygraph, background investigation, medical and mental health examinations.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED approved by Maryland Dept. of Education.
• Subject to drug testing and background checks.

Responsibilities
