Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is recruiting Deputy Judicial Marshals for Northern Maine, including Bangor, Presque Isle, Machias. These are long-term temp opportunities with first shift, full-time/part-time options, paid at $23 per hour.

Qualified candidates must have prior law enforcement experience and Maine CJAC Pre-Service Training or a valid LE certification from another state. This role emphasizes courtroom security in a calm, professional setting.

Qualifications

• Prior law enforcement experience required.
• Completion of Maine Criminal Justice Academy Pre-Service Training or active out-of-state LE certification.
• Active LE Certification from another state is required.
• High level of discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of judges, jurors, court staff, and the public.
• Perform entry screening and maintain order in the courtroom.
• Stay alert and respond to security risks during proceedings.
• Patrol public areas of court facilities as needed.
• File reports and maintain clear records of incidents or arrests.
