Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Court Reporter (CCR) per Missouri State Supreme Court Rules.
• Background screenings and possible education or criminal checks required.
• Ability to manage exhibits and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Record and preserve all courtroom proceedings through verbatim recording methods.
• Transcribe records and provide accurate transcripts within a reasonable time after payments of fees.
• Prepare letters, correspondence, forms, and other documents.
• Edit/proofread/correct written materials, maintain copies of documents, and manage files.
• Generate reports and operate office equipment; perform courtroom duties such as marking exhibits.
• Performs other duties as required.
