KACE Company is looking for a part-time Linguist to perform real-time and recorded transcription from Fuzhou to English for law enforcement tasks. This role involves producing accurate, court-ready written products and requires knowledge of Fuzhou slang and colloquialisms.

The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, and must be comfortable working under pressure. The position requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance and offers an hourly rate of $40. Travel to client sites in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of translation experience in Fuzhou.
• Ability to type 45 words per minute.
• Knowledge of SMS shorthand and social media terminology.

Responsibilities

• Listen to live or recorded communications in Fuzhou and produce transcripts.
• Translate and transcribe pertinent calls and documents.
• Maintain a daily productivity log.
