Job summary

The Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida is seeking a Case Manager to provide guidance to judges on felony mental health cases and coordinate services with courts, the Clerk of Courts, and community-based providers.

Under supervision, you will manage case preparation for hearings, maintain filings, and facilitate referrals while developing and improving work methods and procedures. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice or related field.
• Two (2) years of related work experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cases and facilitate referrals to community-based services.
• Prepare cases for court hearings and brief judges.
• Maintain case notes, filing systems, and scheduling hearings.
• Serve as liaison between court, attorneys, service agencies, and treatment providers.
• Deliver transport orders to the Department of Corrections Transportation Unit.
