The State Courts System is seeking a Court Program Specialist I to provide guidance to judges on felony mental health matters and coordinate case management.

You will liaise with courts, Clerk of Courts, attorneys, community providers, and involved parties, managing hearings and filing systems while preparing orders and maintaining case notes. A Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience are required; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice or related field; substitutions allowed year-for-year with relevant experience.
• Two years of related work experience; additional education can substitute for experience.

Aufgaben

• Provide case-related information to court personnel and coordinate cases.
• Coordinate community-based services and treatment for defendants.
• Develop conditional release plans and draft court orders.
• Manage caseloads and ensure compliance with court-ordered conditions.
• Prepare cases for court, attend hearings, brief judges, and maintain case notes.
